A rare pre-war x-braced Gibson L-0 from 1941. The Gibson L-0 was manufactured from 1926 to 1942 and is increasingly difficult to find these days.
This characteristic blues box has a spruce top and mahogany back and sides. All of this is topped off with a stunning all-black finish and firestripe pickguard. A very tasty combination! Furthermore, this classic has a fairly large mahogany neck with a Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard. It is also exempt from CITES due to its age.
Apart from a number of professionally repaired cracks in the body, the L-0 is in a very nice condition. And apart from the rosewood bridge, the Gibson is completely original. The tuners of the guitar were once replaced, but now the original tuners are back on the guitar. These are still working, but very stiff.
With this Gibson you can already taste the gritty roads of the Mississippi delta! This vintage Gibson comes with a new case.
