This 1919 Gibson L-1 in Sheraton Brown finish is a special piece of Gibson history. With this Gibson you can almost taste the “Dusty Southern Dirt Roads”!”
The L-1 has a solid spruce top and a maple back and sides. The mahogany neck has a very comfortable V-neck profile with an ebony fingerboard. The Gibson has a nice consistent low action down the fingerboard. The Gibson has that typical dry and woody sound, perfect for blues, country, jazz and ragtime!
This Gibson is in very good condition. Especially considering that the guitar is over 100 years old! The bridge and tailpiece are not original. The pickguard is original, but lacks the celluloid brackets. The Gibson is structurally 100 percent.
Comes with the original case with green lining.
