A Gibson Royaltone c. 1950. The Gibson Royaltone was built, for a very short period of time, between 1950 and 1952. It was also the first Gibson lap steel with an adjustable pole-piece P-90. At the time, the Royaltone was advertised as “The Finest Money Can Buy!”.
This 6-string Gibson Royaltone has a maple top with a contrasting “chocolat brown” body.
These early Gibson lap steels are so classy and authentic sounding that you have to love them. Just plug in this BR-6 and you're ready for western swing, country, rockabilly and anything you can think of!
The Gibson comes with the original case.
